    System Error in request tracker

We use Request tracker for a help desk - I have just tried to connect to it and am getting the following error

    Code:
    System error

error: mkdir /var/cache/request-tracker3.6/mason_data/obj/2186859745: No space left on device at /usr/share/perl5/HTML/Mason/Compiler/ToObject.pm line 107

I don't know apache well at all - i looked at the file system which has only 35% full so i know that there is disk space available but i can't see why this is happening.

    Any help gratefully appreciated!

I'm no expert in this type of thing, but from reading the line
    Code:
No space left on device at /usr/share/perl5/HTML/Mason/Compiler/ToObject.pm line 107 context:
could it be permissions on a particular folder or actually low on space?

Show us df -h from the box, it believes it is out of space.

    Heres df-h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
    /dev/cciss/c0d0p1 33G 26G 5.2G 84% /
    none 4.4G 220K 4.4G 1% /dev
    none 4.4G 12K 4.4G 1% /dev/shm
    none 4.4G 412K 4.4G 1% /var/run
    none 4.4G 0 4.4G 0% /var/lock
    none 4.4G 0 4.4G 0% /lib/init/rw
    none 33G 26G 5.2G 84% /var/lib/ureadahead/debugfs

My bad is 16% left - when i wrote 35% it was the printout from our squid proxy box!

Its not low on diskspace as has 5.2gb free its worked fine for the previous 2 years so i would presume that its not a permissions issue.

Is it because while compiling that its using more then the 5gb and runs out of diskspace? just a guess!
