    Windows Live Messenger Social

I don't know if this is a new thing, but on the Windows Live live.com website you have a thing called Messenger Social, which allows you to have a stream from Facebook, MySpace etc and to post onto these sites even if you have these sites in your blocklist.

Yes we've noticed it today. is there any way to block that part of the site without stopping access to live mail?

Not that we've found, no response from Microsoft on this either. At the moment we've had to block the whole of mail.live.com for students, which has caused some 'issues'.

Yep, it was was launched on the last update I believe. Thing is, it's easy to block the IM app, can't find a way to block just the Messenger Social part of the website though as it's integrated onto the homepage.
