    Web Hosting Recomendations

We are having to move our school website to an external host as our LEA system does not support sql/php based sites.

Can anyone recommend any reliable web hosting companies that support sql and php and are fairly cheap.

    Thanks

There are so many out there you are pretty spoilt for choice. Can you not host the website in house on a server? Personally I use PipeTen Windows Hosting and they work well for me but there are tons out there like 123-Reg, GoDaddy, WebFusion, MediaTemple... The list goes on.

As a school, we host our website on our own server.

CS New Media are pretty good, many members including myself use them.

Haven't had any issues so far and all of my pre-sale questions were answered very quickly at all times of the day(even 10pm+!)

Edit: oops, as you can see they're pretty popular around here (any chance of comission Carl )

I have used Layershift for some years and they're currently hosting my employer's Moodle VLE. Andrew Cranson is MD or his right hand man is Damien Ransome
