Prevent IE frooom looking up websites from IP addess?

im trying to figure out if there is any way either in group policy or via a script i can set IE for our students to not be able to look up a website via the IP address, they figured out that they could in the last few days, im blocking them when i see them, im just thinking that there should be an easyer way

    thanks

best to do it on your proxy, rather than the browser.

im doing that, im just by my slef and im not always able to constantly look at what websites the kids are going on to, so thought id take a little hastle out of it, i know lanschool can do it when you limit web browsing to a set number of pages, i wonder how they do that.
