Translation websites

Are there any built-in URL filters for translation websites in Smoothwall? A lot of students are now using them to try and bypass our filtering, most of the time when they click on the results they still get blocked by weighted phrases, but it would be nice to block some of the translation websites.

We're due to release such a category quite soon. It will be added as a beta initially.

Care to PM me which ones are causing particular bother? I'd like to think Deep URL filtering will catch most of the circumvention attempts.

There are non in particular it was just a request from our languages department. We'll wait for the new category and then have a play.

Hi, just an update that we've released the Translation category as a Beta. You should now be able to add it to one of your existing filters.
