Strange results with Synetrix
Just thought I'd crowd source this one, recently I noticed when opening a browser and going to say google.com I get a small jpg appear instead of the usual google page.
I've not got a screenshot but its shows a small 80x200 brown shield outline.
It maybe happen 1-in-100 times, but it happens on other sites, and I just got a call from another Network Manager at another school, and he's saying the same thing. The only similarity is that we are both inside the LGfL and both using Synetrix.
Is anyone else experienced this?

13th May 2010, 03:58 PM #4 This is a pain in the neck... Only started happening when our Synetrix switch was replaced.
Phone them up and log a call.. They sad they fixed it last week but it's still happening around the school.

13th May 2010, 04:30 PM #5 @james2k – i think the switch replacement is a red herring, as we do have a problem with the lgfl url filtering service atm.
more details are on talk2syenetrix - lead call 00244852 – if not already done so, ask support to link your call to this one, then (assuming your email is setup) you will get all future updates.
Sorry for the pain this is causing, i know the engineers are working on a debug script to isolate the issue and also to stop the incorrect images being presented, should be tested and implemented soon.
