    As part of these Tom is there the fix for Postgres getting a little bit carried away, I'm nearly remember all the lines of code to brutally murder Postgres and revive it

    @Tom:

    Couple of things...
    1. Have you implemented more of an Ajax front end to avoid the heavy page refresh-ness of the current GUI?

    @john - yes - TimR is just putting the last touches on that, the new performance curve is pretty good. You should have it in a week or so.

    @contink - we're doing a whole new GUI for the next major "base" release, which will be very ajax flavoured. In the mean time we are going to try and keep the page refreshes down. Monday is fine, although i'm out in the afternoon, and Rob's at Sulzer doing an install at some point, so if you are popping in, give me a call first or you might get stuck with the sales folk
