    Google chrome frame for IE

Google Chrome Frame - Google Code

just wondering if anyone is using this, installed it at home and it really improves IE, plus support for HTML5 and as everyone knows IE isn't the best of browsers, so this could just be a solution for all your IE problems.

I'm probably being really stupid, but why would you do this rather than just run Chrome??

i know, and i do run chrome, though if you work in an enviroment where IE is the only browser then this could come in useful.

i have read that installing this google chrome plugin can compromise IE security ,

Microsoft: Google Chrome Frame makes IE less secure

does anyone know if this is still a problem, as the above article is a couple of years old?, we have subscribed to a website, which won't let you continue without either chrome, or this plugin, pas the homepage, which i believe is rubbish. we are currently using ie8, and won't be upgrading to ie9 obviously until we get windows7 or even hate ( sorry mean eight)
