    squid ubuntu cache peer

Hi, i'm trying to setup squid on a ubuntu machine but whenever i add the cache peer lines with our info it doesn't work. We have to proxy to get to the outside world. Anyone else having/had simalar issues? Any ideas on how i should start to resolve this?

What sort of errors are you getting?

If your going through an upstream proxy you will need the line below in your squid.conf:

    Code:
    never_direct allow all

I have that in the config file, and the issue i get is that nothing comes through the proxy. I will reduce the config file down and add it to the forum tomorrow hopefully.
