What are peoples thoughts on this site?

IS it legit? I've banned it but been asked by the head of IT to unblock it. What do you think?

I have it blocked here for the simple reason that kids spend 90% of the lesson playing songs, changing songs, browsing songs and wasting time. It is too distracting.

See thats my point, but they use th excuse that it helps the students study (don't even get me started!).

I'm not sure what the copyright laws are on the site.

We worked on the fact that if we can't decide how legit it is then we can't be 100% sure it is legal, which is what we are told by county we need to be about this kind of thing.

In short: we blocked it.
