Smoothwall has made my day!!
Thanks guy's for such a fantastic product....
Just had a couple of Students poke their heads through our shout " Booooo Smoothwall is rubbish.."
When I asked them why they said " It's blocking every game, we can't play on nothin"
I smiled and sent them packing..... Me & Smoothwall 1 - Students 0

That would be awesome.

3rd June 2009, 02:44 PM #8 Bahahah. Nah - although that one would certainly make the kids fear that the consequences of illicit sites is a faceful of Compi spit.
Will see if I can find it. It's really cheeky

3rd June 2009, 04:14 PM #12 Flash game killer is currently in active development. I haven't seen it "work" yet, but there's got to be some changes to the content scanner framework before I can test an alpha.
Basically what we are looking for is the worlds first (unless anyone knows otherwise??) true flash content filter - pulls the flash to bits in order to try and analyse what it is doing. ETA for release October, with potentially some beta available prior to that.

3rd June 2009, 04:26 PM #14 When I introduced Smoothwall SG to our school I would get abuse from whole classes on kids. The expressions of anger on their faces...
I didn't have to say anything, I'd just stand at the front grinning and revelling in the abuse.

:O You evil man
I'm working on some exciting new developments for my Smoothwall which when I (read me and Smoothwall support) get working I will share with you (sorry guys they are LEA specific) to have even more fun and benifit us and reduce whinging, sorry constructive criticism, from the teaching staff about the filters.
