Smoth Guard INitial settings
Does anyone have a working set of smoothwall /Guardian settings that hits that happy spot as far as filtering goes without too many false positives?
We've evaluating it but when we went live for a trial it was blocking far too much. I just wondered if anyone had a set of settings that would give us a kick start in the right direction
Thanks

9th March 2009, 04:37 PM #2 If you look in your Web Filter logs, it will point out where you are overblocking... we found that the limit was just getting tripped too often for our liking so ended up increasing to 160 from 100 (but we do weight things more heavily too to compensate).

Let me know what sites it's overblocking and I will look into any miscategorisations. If it is categorising correctly, we will then look at which categories may cause issues.
