Hi All,
Our smoothwall has been live this week, the kids hate it and i love it....
Have called support a couple of times already... each time has been fantastic...

But now i have another problem....
I need to allow our server IP's (10.0.3.1 - 10.0.3.15) to not have to authenticate to smoothwall. Is this possible?
Block direct web access is enabled, and so is transparent mode.
TIA
Michael

27th February 2009, 09:10 AM #2 Yes... guardian/proxy/web proxy and add the servers to "exception local IPs" - this should stop your servers being filtered.

27th February 2009, 09:50 AM #3 Hi Tom,
Many thanks for the quick reply....
I thought that it would go there...
It still asks me to input my user name and password...
Our router (default gateway) forwards any requests for external addresses to Smoothwall. We do not use smoothwall as our default gateway, could this be the reason why the exceptions are not working??
