I'm trying to get my Ipod touch to work around the school (handy for picking up trouble tickets and for people to find me).
I've got safari/appstore etc etc working, but mail is not -
I'm using a googlemail account for personal use - that just continually checks for mail -
Using the following
imap.gmail.com over port 993
smtp.gmail.com
And i can't get it to connect to RM Easymail at all over the network.
Using the details from the RM website.
imail.(domainname)
post. (domainname)
There are no details about which port to use on the RM documentation.
I'm on the South west grid and I've checked my filtering policies to ensure that there is nothing getting in the way.
Has anyone tried this?
Cheers, Ben

as far as I remember you had to ask for it if you currently use the webmail

IPod Touch
I have the same problem here, the new deputy head wants to be able to do this and I have never had to facilitate this before. Any help on this would be great.

Hi Ben,
Have you or anyone else managed to get iPods to work with RM's Easymail using the built in email app on the touch?
best
Julian
