I really hope someone can help me here...
Since I started here Policy Central has never worked properly. When I first started, the web based console would constantly throw SQL errors at me when I tried to review reports. This hasn't happened in a while, but what i'm experiencing now is it being really really slow. Some times it appears to load instantly, but sometimes it can take a very long time to get into the web based console. Having to sit there and wait whilst it loads.
Anyone got any ideas? Would really appreciate it if someone can help. I have logged a call with Link2ICT, but they dont seem to be too bothered. I have asked for them to remove it from the server and then install it again, but I've been told I'd have to wait for to happen. How hard would it be to do that myself? Though I would rather just try and fix the problem rather than reinstalling.
We had this problem a while back. Forensic Software fixed it.
The last ticket I have read:
Don't know if that helps you any?Forensic software changed the pceservice.exe file. Apparently the logs were not being written to the DB. An email later stated that "It was related to IPv6 client source addresses."
