    Anti-Spam

Is there a decent list of hosted anti-spam solutions.

And also self-hosted solutions? ( I'd rather not do a raw spamassasin install though!)

I'm looking for a few different options to offer customers.

For those with EES subscriptions or similar, Microsoft EOP is quite a good one. Does not require exchange.

Not a list, but we're planning to send our email through Google's system first before it arrives at our Exchange server, that should provide decent enough spam filtering.

Also it comes with Office 365, free for all education users. In fact they have merged it into Office 365 now.

+1 for Exchange Online Protection, previously we were getting quite a few complaints about spam mail using just the built in Exchange anti spam and since putting in EOP we haven't had a single report of spam to the Help Desk!

Keep an eye on the quarantine box though - saw quite a few emails from Exam companies and so on make their way in there until we went through and put the domains in as allow.

Exchange online protection .... is this something we need to be asking our suppliers to get for us? How much does it cost (Or is it free as EES? Searches show a per mailbox cost)

I've got an exchange 2013 server and i want to use EOP but not sure where to start, can anyone give me a push in the right direction?

If you have EES speak to your licensing provider. Ours is part and parcel with our agreement so it's probably it'll be included with yours. The documentation for setting it up with Exchange is plentiful - we use ours with Zimbra so there was a bit more hunting for information for us. You'll generally need to set up your MX records with your internet provider/domain provider to point to the EOP system for it to work and the rest is easy. The documentation runs you through all the necessary steps.
