I'm trying to set up YouTube for schools but whenever I click signup I get a 505 error and the amusing but quite annoying Monkeys bla bla bla.
Happening on Chrome (latest) and IE9.
Is anyone else getting this?
Thanks Kinster, although that did not help in this situation.
Have you tried again since then? I've had this error before setting this up.
Try again later.™
Sorry but is anybody still having sign up issues, Error 500 and the Monkey is going to get it soon if I cant resolve this....
If it's been going on for more than a couple of hours, try removing all your cookies from google.com, youtube.com and all of their subdomains. Clear the browser cache as well.
You'll have to log in again.
Ob1 I have done all that tried other machines even tried from my mac at home and still the monkeys. This is a nightmare and I can't find a link for the YouTube support.
Google don't communicate when they change things on youtube for schools.
Google don't communicate at all, do they?
Its all over here. https://productforums.google.com/for...be-for-schools
I wish they could just have a blog/rss/twitter telling us when they are messing about with it. Also when they will fix the app/ssl issues.
Whats all over here, there is no posted solution.

sometimes (about twice a year on average) we come in to Youtube Education being bricked. Lucky for me we get our Lightspeed filtering through the local council so it is their problem to sort out. I just sit back, drink coffee and relax.
Error 500 for well over a week now...
