I work at an overseas school with limited internet bandwidth trying to support an exponential increase in IOS devices etc!
I currently use an equiinet CachePilot to mirror the EducationCity.com website which make it usable, but I'd like to get rid of the CachePilot and put a Linux based squid proxy in place to cache IOS/OSX Apps and updates (I've found a solution), however I am finding it difficult to find a Linux same box solution for mirroring the EducationCity.com website.
I am unable to use the Apple Caching Server as a solution for the Apps/updates as it will only Cache Apps/updates for for Apple ID's that are registered in the same country as the caching server is hosted.
No Bites, guess I need to rephrase or be more specific...
1. Anyone out there mirroring a website such as EducationCity.com, if so how? wget?
2. Anyone caching IOS Apps and updates using squid?
I need to combine the two above on the same box and preferably as a transparent proxy.
