Hi Everyone
Just wondered if anyone had come across / used this product.
Serva 32/64 - Serva32 - Serva64
The idea is that it's a portable app that allows you to run a DHCP server from a USB stick. I'm thinking of including it in my contingency plans - we only have one server, but quite a lot of internet hosted services. If we could get internet access during a server failure, the school would be pretty much up and running, giving me more time to fix the server. I could configure it with all of our reserved ranges etc and have it ready just to plug into any PC on the network should the worst happen.
I'm willing to give it a whirl and haven't come across any scare stories on Google, but thought I'd pick the combined experience here before I start out.
Thanks
