Can't Activate Sibelius - Unable to reach their server?
I'm having problems activating Sibelius 7 on a Mac. Every time I try after a minute or so I get a response saying it cannot reach the activation server.
The School I work has a Filtering & Firewall system which is controlled off site by both my LEA and another company. Pretty sure itís being blocked. I contacted Avid support and they said make sure port 3443 is open. I've asked for this to happen and 3 weeks later it was done. I still can't activate the software though.
Has anyone else had this problem or similar? Does anyone know what the URL's are or website addresses for Sibelius's activation servers? Also as I don't speak very good Mac and its possible that I haven't configured the proxy correctly? So if anyone knows more about that as well then it greatly appreciated.

Don't know about Mac, however if there is an option for activating on another pc/mac then go through that as you can then do that through a web browser on any machine.

I've never got sibelius to activate through our system - smoothwall, and I gave up and pushed for the network version a few years back. At least then you only have manual activation of the server!

Same here, never got it to work, always used the website which is nice enough to use.
