Hi all,
A friendly hello from an edugeek in South Africa. Came upon the site while looking for some education resources and so far it looks pretty cool.
I will be posting a bunch more in the months/years to come

Badly mainly
Essentially it's broken up into Primary, Secondary and Tertiary education.
The part where they're actually in school (as opposed to University) is:
Foundation phase: Grade 1-3 (Age 6-10)
Intermediate phase: Grade 4-6 (10-13)
Senior phase: Grade 7-9 (13-16) - Kids are allowed to leave after Grade 9 if they want :/
Senior Phase part 2: 10-12 (16-18)
I work in the Intermediate phase
Cute kids.

Cute kids.
They also have a curriculum that has been rejected as a failure by numerous countries ( Outcomes based Education) and they now have a Matric (final Exam) that you can’t fail
