2007 Summative test

We are having a problem with this software. We are getting the error message: -

'An error has occurred in the Delivery Point System application.
Contact your system administrator'

The software works fine as an administrator,but not as a pupil, even if an administrator has already loaded the software. Clearly a rights problem, but the error does not give the path where the rights are needed. We have tried applying relevant rights on the sub-directory, but that didnt work. Have also tried the latest revised install.

We have tried the RM Tech Support but they just blamed 3rd party software (which when uninstalled makes no difference!)

Has anyone else had this problem?

You need to delete the above file, I have done a script to run at logon and i will be trying this tomorrow.

Copy the text below into Notepad and save as vbs. The drop the script in your GPO>Computer settings>Scripts>start up of your GPO. I have tried this on our two classrooms with the QCA software and it deletes the rogue folder without any need to uninstall and re-install the new msi.

Arg!

Was just about make a thread concerning this. I was almost under the impression I could forget about it for another year!

On the bright side Edugeek's capacity for predicting problems I face at work borders on scary. ;-)

Works just fine here, just dreading the official test days when the students do their best not to do it!!!
