As the QCA and ALAN software both love port 80 I need to install them on seperate servers. As I don't have to boxes to WASTE I've built a Xenserver VM to run each one. All very good I thought until I came to install the APS software on the server at which point it informs me that I need a 'console' session. The documentation says that it does support this so it should be ok.
I've double checked and the RDP windows says 'console' at the top (I've tried /admin as well for RDP6) and it says session 0 in TS Manager but still no joy. I've also connected through Xencenter so I'm in theory sat at the keyboard and mouse but it still says that I need a 'console' connection and errors.
Has anyone installed the QCA software on a VM?
I'm installing on server 2003 SP2 on Xenserver 5.5
Thanks.
EDIT
I restarted the VM again and it seems to be working now. Maybe there was a disconnected TS session that it was picking up or something.
