Is there any way to uninstall test from workstation, Actually I was facing some problem, when student log in and select a test It says there is some error in loading test and close down. I want to unistall the test and install it again on that specific workstation. I can't find installer anywhere. I uninstalled DPS and and installed again but again the test were there!!!
How have you installed the tests? If you've done them through GP you should be able to remove them by removing them there. And on next GP Update it will remove them.
It's what i've done.
the test information is held in a database on the (APS) server, so uninstalling and re installing DPS on a work station won't affect that, because as soon as you log on at the work station, it picks up the test information again. This should only be the case if you, or someone else has tried the test logged on as a pupil. If you've done it anonymously that information is not held and you'll be able to start afresh (according to RM)

You can uninstall the tests by running the .msi again on the workstation and choosing remove. (The tests and DPS also have their own entries in add/remove programs too.) To get rid of broken practice test data on the workstation, you'll probably have to remove each test and the DPS, then delete the QCA Testing folder in Program Files.
Then just reboot to reinstall if you've deployed via GPO.
what a schmuck. I never thought of looking in there! thanksOriginally Posted by sahmeepee
