The permissions are OK. I *think* it could be due to Sentinel Ranger but I can't prove it.

Re: Has anyone else seen this error?
I found this problem when I tried to Install DPS via Ranger Package Builder, If you install DPS manually on each workstation it works fine, I think its not concerned with Rangers coz we are running DPS with Ranger on the machines.

Re: Has anyone else seen this error?
Yeah. I think the DPS must store the workstation ID somwhere Package Builder cannot get to it.
I'm installing .NET using Ranger Packages, then the DPS by hand. I wonder if Package Builder will work with the exam packages? They seem to just be MSIs...

I have seen this error on a couple of my workstations. As a quick fix I gave "everyone" access to the DPS software folder on the local hard drive for that one lesson. Not sure what the proper fix is though. As the permissions appeared correctly.

Re: Has anyone else seen this error?
Tried changing the permissions. Didn't fix it for me
(are they using the same message for multiple errors?)
Sylv3r: Are you running Ranger at all?

Re: Has anyone else seen this error?
That is a permissions issue you need to allow write access to
C:\Program Files\QCA Testing\Delivery Point System\TDS
and any folders below this.
It also states this in one of the many manuals of hell provided with the software
