Laptops / Disconnected Practice Tests
Has anyone managed to setup the DPS software on some staff laptops while disconnected from the network?
Ive so far got the software installed, with the 2006 materials/tests, but I am unable to get it to allow me to run the practice tests (the anonymous configuration option doesnt seem to have helped) without being connected to the APS server.
So, what im after is:
Laptop, unplugged from network
Staff member logging into laptop locally, running software
Staff member running through the practice tests / familiarisation material (preferabley without having to enter codes for login)
EDIT: Just re-read that, I dont mean scheduled practice tests, I mean on the Practice menu, running any of the 3 materials.

I think you have to download the tests to the laptop from your APS server, then you need to set it to run in disconnected mode. I haven't tried this for myself, but this is the fall back if the server should fail any time during a test.

Re: Laptops / Disconnected Practice Tests
Sorted. You will need to print out Test Protection Codes though.
