Help desk
I know this has come up before but I'm lazy and I can't find it (search for help desk and you get over 2000 threads). But can anyone recomend an electronic teacher freiendly system for logging tasks preferable webbased. I've had a quick look at http://www.zoho.com/ and it looks quite good but would like personal recomendations... as I'm struggling to get an intray big enough for the paper system.

Re: Help desk
for laziness that has to be the best alternative! :)
I did a comparison chart
I'd recommend Liberium if you want to run it on a windows server, or one||zero a linux server.

We use Cerberus. It is web based. We have an earlier version than the one they are touting now, but it does the job for me. Web link: http://www.cerberusweb.com

Re: Help desk
GLPI here! After writing something similar as a topic this works really well for auth off an IMAP server! Great if you use PHP MYSQL and want it available to the outside world! Liberium is a bit more of a pain to get working like that unless you only use the DB auth instead! Both are easy to setup though and I've used Liberium (until now) since 2002.

Re: Help desk
We currently use something from Ilient which includes an asset database too. Nice!

Re: Help desk
I will shortly be rolling out eSupport. Definately the best I've seen so far, though it does cost a bit of cash.
