Software [Update] Testing & Sign Off Forms
I've been tasked with creating a sign off form with relation to Software Updates - along with reviewing our entire Patch Policy
Basically, we have a Dev/Test/UAT environment (Hurrah!) where every month we will deploy updates to make sure they don't break anything.
Once we know they don't we will then release them to the Production environment every Quarter (starting in April).
So, I need a form where I can list all the updates that were sent out, and provides a space for the appropriate team (eg SharePoint) to confirm:
- Installation of Update
- All software has been checked for any issues
- Any problematic updates (eg failed to install, caused issues with <application>
- Testers Name, Signature & Date of testing
- App Managers Name, Signature
- My Managers Name, Signature.
Before I start trying to create one, I just wondered if this had already been done anywhere?
