Sign in screen when trying to connect to a shared network printer
I hope someone can help with this.
Were running print server on Windows server 2003. Staff use the web printing console to connect to printers they have permissions to. Issue were having is when a staff member is trying to connect to a printer, a sign in screen appears asking you to authenticate by entering your username and password. Staff accounts are limited and cannot use their normal logins.
Its happening to different printers (hp, ricoh, brother) and different staff (teaching, support etc).
Has anyone ever come across this and know how to sort it.
Any help would be much appreciated.
