Hi all,
I was looking to install a room booking system (open source) to manage our ict suites and decided to go with devizes room booking. I have got it installed on win 2003 server and working fine. Problem is i cant get it to connect to ad to authenticate users. Followed all the instruction on th site (few years old) but still doesnt work. Our dc is on server 2008 r2.
Has anyone able to ge5t it working ?
Any help would be appreciated.

7th June 2012, 05:20 PM #2 Been covered many times before this, it has to be installed on a DC for the AD authentication to work. We use it, and have it running on a 2008R2 DC, but it did take a fair bit to get it working.

Hey, we've been upgraded to CC4 over the holidays and also have Server 2008 R2. We use to use the booking system on Server 2003 32-Bit and it worked perfectly.
I've managed to get it to connect to the database using the ODBC driver for Access, our only problem is connecting it to AD - we can log in as a local user, but we'd prefer users to be able to log on with their AD account.
I've tried enabling authentication in IIS7, which should work, but it doesn't. @FragglePete; could you explain what steps you had to take to get it working please? Or has anyone else on this site got any info on how to get it up and running on a 64-Bit server.
I've contacted our local support council and someone suggested that the table lookup entries may have changed in AD on 64-Bit? So does this mean there may be some lines of code I could change and it'll be able to communicate with AD?
Any help greatly appreciated!
