Does anyone know of a way or a utility in which you can export from a ISA list?
Even though we have our filtering via the LEAwe still like to block things on site to as it can be quicker!
However, we have a very long list of blockedURL's and would like to export them to a text file (or somthing similar) as a back up and a general reference.
Any ideas... :?: :!: :?: :!:
If you right click on your ISA list under URL sets in Network Objects, there is the option to "export selected". That exports it as an xml file. Thats how we do it because we have over 10,000 sites on there, including something like 400 proxy sites and I am buggered if I am typing those all in again![]()
ops: Ah right, I will check that out next time i RDC into the proxy!
I have been trying this for a few weeks now though, via all the menu systems etc and i can swear i have nver seen anything like, nevermind. I can but try.
Thanks

Also remember to export your ISA config every now and again, should you need to reinstall ISA at some point all you need to do is vanilla install ISA then import this, viola, all back to how it was.

Unfortunately we are still on an old version of ISA [3.0.12.00.16] anyone got any useful scripts for this version of ISA?

@DaveP: Don't have the scripts to hand but some Googling will help you find some VERY good scripts for importing Squid blocklists... just don't get too carried away and import millions of sites.
