Work on planning Summer upgrades.
Group Policy audit/clarout/tidyup
User profile cleanup (mandatory profiles?)
New features/info on school website
Implement new technologies (something like HAP+, FOG, WDS, SCCM, Moodle etc etc)
Serial number audit (fun!)
Build some test Linux machines then kill them by messing with the configs too much
Plenty to do!
zag (9th May 2012)
Projector filter cleaning! (My personal Fave) YAY!

Quiet? What the hell does that mean? :S
feel lucky
i had to sit through emotional intelligence training today.............
oh joy!!!!!
Not quiet at this time of year.
Lots of online exams.
For some reason, I find myself responsible for creating videos for the Y11 Leavers Dinner.
I have already completed full ict audits. Website is done by snr technician. We've got mdt for building laptops/pc's - applications that needed updating have been done. I have been stuyding for microsoft certs especially win 7 as we may be upgrading to win 7 over or after summer. No word on if we getting new machines over summer.
One thing i am interested in doing is print management. Staff waste way too much paper. I had installed papercut logger to the print server back in december and currently were printing on average 50,000 sheets a month. This might not be accurate as staff/pupil can cancel print job in the middle but still heck of alot.

How big a school? 50,000 sheets isn't much depending on the size of the school.
Personally I used to lookup new technologies and have a play with them. I've built intranets etc
I went from Papercut logger to NG, saved us an absolute fortune. See if you can draw up a CBA for buying that, very worthwhile.
