    Bios Spash screen

Just looking for a bit of advice. One of my schools has purchased some computers DELL but thru a 3rd party. The 3rd party has changed the Bios splash screen to display there company name. Is there a easy way to get the Bios to show our school logo?

The bios is a Dell A11.

Is there anything we should be careful off

    TIA

Do you mean the text above the Dell logo?

If so, that is the owner tag and it can be modified or deleted using a DOS program called asset.com from Dell.

You "can" edit the resources within the bios using some programs, but to be frank you might as well just flash them back to default. Lot easier than messing around editing the resources

What OS are you using? in the MSGina.dll which you would edit for a custom login screen you can do the same with the XP windows loading page - not sure if the same for Win 7

Yes I know but its another possiblity if he would like to customise the booting - set the bios back to Dell and then have the windows one customised.
