    Scientific Notation in office 2007

    Is there any way of getting scientific notation in office 2007 I'm looking specifically for an overscore v symbol but can't find one but we have loads of these equations and no way of creating them in office?

    You can sometimes get things like this as an additional font file; my wife has one for all the phonic sound symbols (you know, the bit in a dictionary that tells you how a word is meant to be pronounced)...

    scientists dont use office, they use LaTeX

    Learning Essentials (free) works with Office 2007 apparantly - I seem to remember that has the sort of thing you're looking for...
