    Problem with Brother 2030 Laser printer.

    I have a Brother 2030 laser printer which keeps printing a thick balck line arounf 1cm thick down the left hand side of the page. I have done thenormal cleaning techniques and still can't seem to stop this from happening.

    Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

    Your Photoconductor unit is broken. Most likely because it's been left exposed to light for too long.

    yeah sounds right, or your drum has been damaged.
