Hello all,
Just a quick question regarding remote access and sims;
My line manager has taken up timetabling for our school and he has requested that he has a laptop with sims installed locally so he can use from home. Is this at all possible? We used to have terminal servers for staff to gain remote access however as of now we have no remote access facilities.
Is this possible at all - SIMS installed locally and a remote connection to be made with our SQL server while he is at home?
Any suggestions are much appreciated.

I use an SSL VPN solution - Bandwidth isn't an issue here as the only time you would be using it is out of hours.
