Do yuo have friendly error messages on?

Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options -> advanced -> Show friendly http error messages.

Untick that apply the changes then quit and restart i.e just to be sure.

Now try again and see if you get something more meaningful to us.

Has the machine got two network cards in it? I ask because the first picture shows the netowrk icon in the systray as not connected?

I've noticed that - I am certain it is connected because I can happily browse the internet.

Just checking the details, and apparently there are two network cards - although there is only one ethernet port.

Welcome to the weird world of my school.

Done, but no change in what the error message is. Honest.

When I was testing glpi and ocs I used one of the wamp setups but can't remember which at the moment.

I don't recall ever trying to access it from another machine allthough I may have done.

What wamp setup are you using?

Done, but still no change. I'm sensing a week of fun ahead of me.

    EasyPHP aren't you sqdge?

Try wiping the system again setup a single card and disable the other.

Use the default installation of OCS and then install GLPI after this should be fine.

I've never used EasyPHP so I'm unsure as to its behaviour in this instance.

So, I have completely started again, and have managed to get both OCS and GLPI running and accessible from outside the local machine. However, the graphics are not what they should be.

There appears to be a large number of menus missing and, especially on OCS, a large amount of information missing.

I'm guessing screenshots would help - let me know.

Sounds like the usual confused webserver+stylesheet problem.

It's definitely a style sheet issue. Any idea what the solution is?

Tell the webserver what it's name is. In apache this is controlled by the 'ServerName' configuration directive.
