    Probably an easy one....excel 2003

Is there a way of getting rid of the first 2 digits from a set of numbers? like i have 001234, 005678, 009101, 003242.

I need to get rid of those first 2 0's from about 90 different figures. Find and replace would get rid of any like "001001". Is there a wildcard i can use or sommat?

Can you format the cells as numbers? That should remove leading zeros.

Put =Right(A1, 4) in A1 then drag down so you get =Right(A2, 4) etc. Alternatively, if they are all 6 digit numbers and all have the two leading zeros you could format the cells as custom type 0000.
