Windows Deployment Services Walkthrough

Has anybody used or know where I can find a 'good' walkthrough for WDS. I don't want the Microsoft one that calls itself a step by step when it isn't.

I'm particularly interested in the bit where you have created your reference machine (SP SP2) and you want to then create your WIM and upload to the the WDS Server (native mode)

Anyone done this successfully yet?

We are just finishing our test deployment at the moment from a mixture of the RIS and WDS stickies and the Technet documentation.

I'll ask to see how far they are aware from being happy.
