I've been asked what software we could use that would allow a teacher to automatically switch all the pupils workstations in a certain room so that they are displaying what the teacher is seeing on her monitor. I'm sure I have seen something like this mentioned on here before, but not sure where to find it again.
Has anyone else done something like this?
Cheers

There's plenty of remote control applications that will do this. We use AB Tutor Control.

I will second that - AB Tutor Control is excellent.

We use Netcontrol2. Not great, but decent (and cheap).

LANSCHOOL. Just trying out the latest software version, but it's slower than the previous version and more clunky.

AB Tutor gives good control and is excellent value, so I second this.

Have looked at all of these sites and AB Tutor LOOKS to be the best. I'll install the free trial and if the teachers like it, will look into paying £150 for a USB Stick license. It certainly looks good value for what it is...
Thanks for the suggestions

Yes - lots of recommendations for ABTutor on these forums, seems 2nd to NetSupport School but for a fraction of the price (if your budget doesn't stretch to No.1).
We bought 5 licences: 1 USB, 3 tutors and 1 tech.

We bought ABTutor after evaluating at all of the competion. For the money it's the best combination of functionality and cofigurability we've found. I like the fact that you can lock the software down to individual labs/machines and disable parts of the software you dont want staff to use (such as remote application launching and terminating running apps).
The only downside is that the online licence activation connects to their server everytime you run the viewer program which is way too harsh IMO. Still there's nothing to touch it at the price that we've found so far.

We have gone the other way around by developing VNC and allowing the teachers to view just the computers in the suite they are in. They can then show each individual students work on the interactive whiteboard. Not the absolute best option but totally free.
