Copy shortcut to all users on active directory
Hello, It's my first post and I am having a bit of a struggle on how to deploy a shortcut that directs users to a program on my server file share. Basically, I just need to have a shortcut present on the desktop of all my users in my active directory. Thank you in advance

30th November 2011, 03:40 PM #2 We use redirected desktop / start menus so the shortcuts are all shared from the server.
another way if using local profiles would be to write a logon script that copys the shotcut to the approriate location on the workstations
another option would be to create an msi containing only the shortcut and deploy it using active directory
as a last resort you could copy the shortcut to a mapped drive they all have access to
