Online Application Forms
For our sixth form we are looking at implementing an online application form for new students. The information needing to be put into it are such details as address, contact information and other secure information, was just wondering if anyone did something similar and had a secure way of storing the data.

Thanks for the quick reply, forgot to mention that SMT believe that emails are not secure enough to handle such delicate information.

I suggested emails initially but got shot down. May i be cheeky and ask how i would go about setting up a secure form that went to a database?

21st November 2011, 09:59 AM #6 Set up a database with the fields you need such as
Firstname
Surname
Address
Postcode
Telephone Number
Mob Number
Email Address
Courses
BLAH BLAH BLAH
then create inputs for the form to correlate with those table headings
then create a button to submit the data into the database

21st November 2011, 10:10 AM #9 You can do this all with a Google Form, the details all get entered into a spreadsheet. You can optionally get an email when someone fills out the form.
