    Disable remote wipe for students

    Hi guys,

I'm looking at allowing (at least our post 16) the ability to connect up activesync devices to our exchange. However my own concern is the remote wipe ability. Whist it's handy for us to have this ability, it's not something I'd want the students to access to, especially as students sometimes ignore IT policy and share accounts, the last thing I'd want is for one student to be able to remote wipe another students phone.

Does anyone else allow activesync for students and if so, how have they dealt with this? A quick google suggests that you can disable it on exchange (we're 2010 SP1) but I'll be damned if I can see where.

Damn it, not two seconds after posting I found it, It's an OWA policy setting, not an activesync policy setting. > Exchange activesync intergration - disable.
