    thanks for that info - I never bothered looking as I use OS X a lot more then windows and use plex for my audio / video needs ( more iTunes for audio though )

    Speaking of OS X, Perian is really cool. It's like ffdshow-tryouts but for Mac's.

    Ive already got perian installed ( more for quicktime ) and also use VLC and mplayer and chroma and use d vision 3 and handbrake etc for joining files etc
