Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005
Hi all,
First time posting, so forgive me if it's in the wrong section
I'm looking in to setting up an IM'ing system via Exchange '03 if possible, although not essential (as you could in Exchange 2000, but has since been disabled) and forum posts etc have led me to think that Office Live Comms. Server is the most viable option.
Anyone have any experience in installing/using?
Or if anyone has setup a different IM'ing system that restricts users to only use if they have an account on the domain could they please provide a little insight?
Many thanks!

Re: Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005
Live Communications Server requires additional CALs which can be rather expensive.
I have been trialling Jive Software's Wildfire for a few months. It's open-source and supports LDAP/Active Directory authentication.

Re: Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005
Live Communication Server 2005 is great. Also Office Communicator 2005 is also very good. See the following URL for more info:
