    Publish IMAP from Exchange 2007 through TMG 2010

    Publish IMAP from Exchange 2007 through TMG 2010 - Does anyone know how to do this?

    I have an external url and ip for this with 143 (incoming), 110 (incoming), and 3101 (outgoing) available any ideas guys? ActiveSync is already setup for android and iphone and OWA for everyone else however blackberry doesn't like connecting to either of these so....

    Hi Wes,

    Try this - open up TMG and right click on Firewall rules - Click New, then Mail Server Publishing Rule - run through the wizard and make sure that you select IMAP.

    That's about it...

    Is IMAP enabled in Exchange?

    <edit>

    Should have said - it's not enabled by default in Exch 2007.

    You'll need to do this in EMS:

    "Set-service msExchangeIMAP4 -startuptype automatic"

    "Start-service msExchangeIMAP4".

    It seems to be as I can connect outlook to it via IMAP? I'll try it anyway just in case thanks!

    I've been trying with my phone but no luck so far (Android 2.2) it works fine with Active Sync so... I'll try it at home and let you know!
