    Its probably not ideal by any stretch of the imagination but the way we implemented it was to set up a public folder in our Exchange organisation, set up some taskpad folders and told our receptionist to make a note of calls that come through to her on there. Its not brilliant but it works.

    For CDO it is possible to extract the CDONTS from a 2000 server box or from a deeply hidden kb article on technet.

    I did this and things are happy now.

    Just gotta get it rolled it the domain, at the moment it is all run from the access database.

    My SQL be a option with MDA?
    It has a addin to allow it to be DSN'ed
    We are thinking about all this. Dont like Lyb's interface much though. I would like a little more power, eg it does a search for possible solutions in the KB before the user submits it to techies.

    Microsoft have released the updated helpdesk template for the new Windows SharePoint Services 3.0

    im assuming you guys got these heldesks working with AD?
    as our current one doesnt and users hate having to remeber yet another username/password
    i have been looking at netsupport DNA but wanted to make sure it will work with ldap, does liberium work with LDAP

    AD integrated authentication worked out of the box for us with the sharepoint template
