By saying that "all admins go out of your way" but they can't stop you comes across to me as gloating.

Why do I care? I care because I know of instances where children have been upset by things they have seen because some 'lovely' person has told them to visit website xyz.com from inside a proxy which has contained some rather unfavourable images which otherwise would have been blocked.

I'd urge you to reconsider your position posting on an IT professionals forum harping on about unblockable proxies whilst on another thread asking for help setting up a webserver in IIS.

If I had read your post asking for help before reading this thread I would have helped you gladly, but I'm not interested now.

I have no need to like or dislike proxies other than from a protective angle.

If you have taken steps in your proxy implementation to filter "bad words" you would be one of a very small minority; how would you feel if someone else circumvented your bad words filter?

i would find them inteligent, and lthem be, but as there are very few technolgically inteligent people this is not a likely scenario.

Unfortunately, when we are legally obligated to protect children like yourself we can't "let them be". That being said, if said person was to actually use their technological intelligence for something good we'd back them all the way as we have done in situations that arose.

Those who opt to try and circumvent measures put in place to protect them are punished at the fullest extent possible.

Tbh, the only things people use it for is myspace youtube and a few images through google.
yeah i wish they had the same ethic at my school "Back them all the way" but they dont teach pupils anything more then using Microsoft office. why do you think im on such a forum?? i want to learn.
Also back to te main topic,
Comcast own http://www.fancast.com/ maybe the :443 is just there content streaming service?
