Does anyone know how I would go about stopping RSS feeds from my wordpress install to all but a select few IP Addresses? I just want the RSS feeds internally at the moment and would like to stop anyone getting to them externally I can stop them completely but this isn't any good for our digital signage board which take info from my internal blog? The site must be logged into to view comments but of course RSS doesn't need to?

15th November 2010, 06:08 PM #2 Not sure if theres an easy way for this
I use Wordpress, and there is no specific setting for RSS
My only suggestion would be a .htaccess file to limit all the feed and rss files in the /wordpress/wp-inlcudes/ folder
Though bear in mind that this resolves to http://your-site/wordpress/feed/ on the browser

15th November 2010, 07:14 PM #3 Found another way as well WP Sentry will set the feeds to be authenticated via user login and you can add a feed key to the setup as well! Sadly only works for usernames created in its DB the LDAP users can't use theirs but thats okay as I don't want them to be able to any way
