for you wannabe MacGyver's out there...

    I have lots of these...

for those who dont own All-in-one Dells they are massive chunky power bricks. (will grab measurements tomorrow) At the moment these are sat on top of the desk and are a complete eyesore and just generally in the way!

So, can any of you think of a clever way for me to attach them to the underside of the desks...allowing access if needed and a bit of air circulation as they get hot!

So far drain pipes and clips plus gaffer tape has all been suggested...just wondering if anyone had any bright ideas....

For similar problems, we've used some screw-in cable tie mounts and then cable tied them up. Even mounted a tablet on the wall like that ¬_¬

Get some metal strip and bend to make a bracket and attach under desk. I'm sure a school tech dept could knock them up for you.

Ikea if you can afford it/they're accessible/big enough:

Cable trays - could possibly repurpose something from your local seller of cheap tat.

Try stapling strapping to the bottom of the desk?

what about normal cable tacks (the round plastic things with a nail in them? though this is only useful for wooden desks..

Or those springy binder clasps - onto the back edge of the desk with the cable raped inside...

The second one - you screw through the middle, then insert the cable tie through one pair of slots and bind in whatever you want to mount.

I had 2 suites of these in Chorley. We had a small metal tray fitted which ran along the underside\back of each desk and the lead came up though a standard circular access point enext to each workststion. It kept the brick out of the way, provided ventilation and as the tray was near the top of the desk it was kept out of the way of feet.
